The Harlequins fly-half burst onto the scene as a teenager, and has become known for his attacking instinct and dynamic view of the game. Marcus has achieved blistering seasons with Harlequins senior squad since his appointment, which have sandwiched his International 'test' debut and a late call-up to the 2021 British & Irish Lions tour of South Africa. Marcus was born and raised in Asia, first playing rugby for the Centaurs Club in Singapore at the age of 7. At 13 relocating to Brighton with his family, and quickly earning a sport scholarship to Brighton College where he went on to captain the 1st team in 2016. In the 2016/17 season he represented Harlequins u18s academy while a member of their Elite Player Development Group. He made his premiership debut in 2017, and by the end of that season was recognised as the second youngest player (behind Johnny Wilkinson) to reach 500 league points at just 21 years and 207 days.
